Abstract: ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the response actions of café to COVID-19 in Kalibo, Aklan. This study could greatly help cafe owner because it would provide them an information to observe their current food safety measures and protocols if their delivery of the products and services offered to their clients meet the minimum requirements in food safety. The researchers used the survey questionnaire adopted from the Department of Tourism to gather the data from cafe owners, staffs and the servers of the cafe in Kalibo, Aklan. A Five (5) Likert Scale was used since it is the most reliable way to measure opinions, perceptions and behaviors. The researchers used simple random sampling in getting the respondents to avoid biased. Slovin's formula was used in determining the number of samples of the respondents. Majority of the respondents were female (63%). The respondent's degree of awareness to COVID-19 symptoms were strongly aware. Understanding all the safety measures and protocols was a great helped as their establishment undergo safety precautions. The issued minimum public health standards of DOH and IATF where the things that the respondents strongly used. Also, they are strongly aware of safety protocols in terms of employee handling, restaurant management and operation,service and other procedures and sanitation, disinfection, safety measures and others. Therefore, the respondents were strongly aware.
