Abstract: ABSTRACT This study determined the effectiveness of technology-enhanced instruction in World History of 27 Grade 9 students of Gaudencio L. Vega National High School, School Year 2014-2015. The experiemental design using the randomized pretest-posttet was utilized in the study. The control group was exposed to traditional lecture-discussion method while the experimental group underwent technology-enhanced instruction. A 30-item test validated by the experts was administered to measure the students' academic performance based on the Philippine Education Secondary Learning Competencies (PSSLC). A pretest and posttest was administered to both the experimental and the control groups before and after the intervention. Results revealed that the level of performance of the Grade 9 students of Gaudencio L.
